07 JulBalancing your Life

Day 39:

Blessed are the balanced; they shall outlast every one

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise Ephesians 5:15 (KJV)

Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as those who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do. Ephesians 5:15 (Ph)

Question to Consider:
Which of the four activities will I begin in order to stay on track and balance God’s five purposes for my life?

  • Talk it through with a spiritual partner or small group
  • Give yourself a regular spiritual check-up
  • Write down our progress in a journal
  • Pass on what you know to others

It’s definitely time for a spiritual check-up.  I haven’t done that in a while and I’m sure it would highlight additional areas that  I need to work on.

I also really need to get more consistent in my journaling.  It’s so sporadic – I’d like it to be something that I’m doing everyday.  Journaling would make sharing my lessons with others so much more easier, especially if I plan to continue to share through my writing.

I like the idea of  balancing my life with these four activities – it makes everything else feel more manageable.  There’s so much that a Christian must do and these activities will help me stay organized.

So what about you, which activity will you focus on?
