Day 24:
The truth transforms me
If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32 (KJV)
Question for Consideration:
What has God already told me in his Word that I haven’t started doing yet?
I feel that there’s a few things that God is telling me to do. It’s time that I start watching what I eat and to be sure that I get enough exercise – that way I’ll be physically able to be a help to others.
It’s also time to start depending completely on God and to allow Him to guide my life. If I look to Him for provision, there will never be any lack. His blessings will always come right on time, just when I need them. It doesn’t matter if I don’t understand how He’ll do it, all I need to do is trust that He will.
He has told me to put my fears aside and listen to His voice.
It’s time to put my family first – that means there are some commitments in my life that will have to go – that means doing less work. Less work may mean less money, but if I just trust God, He’ll work it out far better than I could ever plan on my own.
“God’s Word is the spiritual nourishment you must have to fulfill your purpose.” p.186
What about you? What is God telling you to do?
