14 JunHow We Grow

Day  23:

It is never too late to start growing

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 (KJV)

Let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God – what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect. Romans 12:2b (TEV)

Question to Consider:
What is one area where I need to stop thinking my way and start thinking God’s way?

When it comes to maintaining a healthy diet, I often struggle in this area.  I believe it’s because I’ve been failing to look at it from God’s view.  If I don’t eat properly, if I eat the wrong foods and don’t get enough exercise, that leave me feeling exhausted and drained.  There’s not much I can do for others when I feel that way.

So I’ve come to realize that I really need to approach my diet in a better way – God’s way because there are real consequences aside from being overweight.  By neglecting my health, I indirectly neglect others. If I don’t feel good, I can’t serve. It’s that simple.

What about you?
