forkAre you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Don’t worry, there is something you can do. There is no magic pill that will ensure that you will be healthy, but you can start today, by taking control of your fork. Making healthy dietary choices can and will lead to your being healthy.

Making healthy lifestyle changes has a tremendous effect on the body. In III John 1:2 Paul writes to Gaius these words: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Our soul is just as important as our health. I believe that if our health is not the best, then it will effect all areas of our being (mind, body, soul).

Daniel and his 3 friends made some changes and didn’t eat like everyone else. According to Daniel 1:12 Daniel and his friends ate vegetables and drank water for 10 days. Daniel did not want to defile himself with the king’s delicacies, so he did what God led him to do. Daniel 1:15 says, And at the end of ten days their countenance appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies.

Daniel and his friends stood alone in their way of eating and as a result they faired better than the other young men. We must be willing to make changes and stand alone if need be. In the long run, we will feel better and be glad that we made the necessary changes.

As you can see, the food that we fuel our bodies with, will determine how we feel and look. There is no reason why you cannot be healthy. The Bible is our basic instruction book on how we are to live our lives, but it is also our instruction book on how we are to eat.

Here is an excerpt from Apple Cider Vinegar by Patricia and Paul Bragg, that will help you be on your way to becoming a healthier person.

  • Natural Health Laws for Physical Perfection
  • You must eat natural foods and never overeat.
  • You must breathe deeply of God’s pure air.
  • You must give your body pure, safe, clean water.
  • You must give your body gentle sunshine.
  • You must not overwork or burden your body; this leads to stress, tensions and nerve depletion.
  • You must keep the body clean inside and outside.
  • You must live by divine intelligence and wisdom.

The choice is yours. You can continue being sick and tired or you can start today, making healthy lifestyle choices. The change begins with you.

Way to go!!! I love the guest posting idea and Evelyn certainly has done her thing with this article. Hits home with me because I am most definitely tired of being sick and tired. Just talking at work last night about eating a healthier, more balanced diet.

No fad diet or super pill is going to do it…exactly right! Your behavior and lifestyle MUST be modified :)

Hi Roschelle! Yes, I’m so inspired by her passion for health. This definitely sparked some new motivation for me. I’m at a point where I need to get more serious about my eating habits. Not sure I can take the full vegan plunge for good, but I am in need of a meat and sweets fast :)
    Have a great day.

I’m impressed with your writing style and totally agree with you on these health issues. Reading your post reminded me a recent incident. Last time when I was in Nanjing, China for Computer Networking Training, one of my friend (participant from Bangladesh) used to say Good Buddi (body in his pronunciation) good bran (meant for brain); good bran good man. He was Muslim and very conscious for food. The rest of days in training we called him Buddi (means wife – slang in our language).

@Kiesha I’m glad you have gotten that spark. I’m on a sweets fast now, boy is it hard. This too shall pass! Lol… Thank you so much!

@Suresh Thank you for your compliment. Your story about your friend made me laugh. I don’t think I will never forget that one. Thanks for sharing that.
