Turning Gray Hair Black
There was a time in my life when every aspect of my life seemed to be falling apart. I was jobless, penniless, homeless, separated, and overweight after a recent childbirth. I was just approaching thirty and was already graying. I tell you I even have a gray eyelash – okay! Anyway, one day I noticed one strand of my hair was gray at the end, but was black at the root. (dark-dark-brown, whatever!).
It was so weird that I had to get a witness. I was staying with my mother-in-law and she can vouch for me, the gray hair was growing out black again. As if time was reversing or something.
Okay, I know there’s some logical scientific explanation somewhere that will justify this, but my heart told me that it was a sign from God that He was going to restore me – that He was going to work out a seemingly impossible task. He was going to reverse my circumstances and rejuvenate me.
At the time, there was no other evidence of restoration in sight, but that one gray-turning-black strand instilled new hope in me that had been ripped away. On the days that sadness over my losses overwhelmed me, I would look in the mirror and notice that strand of hair. And that stilled me.
Now, that years have passed, I can honestly say that yes, I’m still graying, but I’m no longer jobless, no longer penniless, and praise God, I’m no longer separated! Okay, I’m working on the weight thing, but 4 out of 5 ain’t bad – hey if Trident can accept 4 out of 5 dentists, I think that’s good!
Anyway, God did as promised, and for that I’m eternally grateful. Only God could reverse all of those negative circumstances and make it as if they never were. Now I’m grateful for those trials, because I can share them with others and let all who will listen know that God can do any seemingly impossible thing. If it’s His will, there’s nothing that can get in the way. Your today doesn’t have to be your tomorrow. I’m living proof.
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 (KJV)

Very interesting article. Yes, God is good and can do what no one else can.
LOVE it!
